Crawford once ran the greatest Freak show in all of Europe touring from country to country, town to town and exhibiting his freaks to all and sundry to satisfy their curiosities about nature’s strangest creations.
Alas, times have moved onwards where the freak show cannot. People are no longer willing to pay to see a small girl with fins and one breast the size of a sixpence… no, they now require something more extravagant. So for one night (and one night only) Crawford will be letting these abominations against normality out of their cages, tanks, pickling jars & barometric compression chambers to perform for your delight.
The Freaks will take over the freak show in this six hour long interactive event featuring Live Bands, DJs, Brand New Sketch Material, Song, Dance, Absinthe, Spectacle, Wonder and more than just a few surprises.
Take a trip back to the golden age of Freakishness with Tax Deductible’s largest ever show. With a cast of over 20 and a fully working Absinthe Bar courtesy of our friends at La Fée Absinthe running throughout the night Freak-Fest threatens to be the twisted highlight of this year’s Secret Garden Party.
Crawford Simplkanck’s Participatory Freak-Fest and Absinthe Emporium will be disturbing the peace at The Secret Garden Party in Huntingdon this July the 24th - 27th. and previewing at the Brighton Fringe this 24th of May.
