John started life as a small egg. Discovered on the council estate of England's garden, John was hatched under expert supervison and is convinced he has been watched ever since. He entered chrysalis stage at the tender age of eight. During the ensuing trauma, a small voice, from where he knows not, convinced him that all he could do was act. He followed the voice to a certain drama school where after much sexual harassment and emotional torture, he became 'friends' with the founders of Tax Deductible Theatre Company. So here he is, prominent yet overpowered, clever yet mostly drunk, and above all a general... disaster. John's pleas for rescue have so far gone unanswered, but he lives in hope (and in a small cupboard guarded by a ferocious goldfish and an uncontrollable fear that the Widecombe will get him should he leave.) Please send all saliva samples care of Lewis, who will vet them for lack of alcohol before stirring them into John's gruel.
