Tax Deductible @ Secret Garden Party, 22 - 25 July 2010, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Time is rolling on and the Never Ever Land Theatre is rolling ever closer towards the Secret Garden Party.
A travelling band of thespians, coryphées, troubadours, and funambulists have packed up their itinerant theatre, hitched up the horses and are preparing to storm the Secret Garden Party with a sensational feast of original drama, comedy, dance, song and even some stuff for the kiddies.
Compèred by their ring master and lord of ceremonies, Renard Worthington-Foulfellow, the theatre will be throwing open it’s tent flaps for all four days of this year’s party. With an already impressive line up of acts and performers running daily from the late morning until the even later evening, Tax Deductible’s Never Ever Land Theatre will be showcasing some of the best acts from the UK fringe scene and beyond.
The Never-Ever land will be open every day of the party till night falls and then... " Once the darkness arrives and the footlights are extinguished the theatre undergoes a bizarre transformation. Secretly re-opening after the witching hour, for those of sufficient guile to gain entry, as a Nocturnium for Lost Children.
Here the weird mechanicals of the Never-Ever Land theatre rule, fantasies are realised and nightmares can come true if you really, really want them to. Expect interactive theatre, arcane religious practices, peep shows, balloon rides, sing songs and knee-up’s all dished up with a healthy dollop of Tax Deductible’s infamous Ruckus™."
