Sofie is a girl, and therefore silly. Coupled with the fact that she is related to an opium smoking, paedophilic, Jack the Ripper suspect, famous for creating a hallucinatory world in which rabbits have pocket watches, mice live in teapots and young girls get duped into taking weird pills, and on her mother's side, a lineage of viking marauders, she is the ideal designer for our shows. She likes the idea of subtly expressing her art through visuals which help transport the audience into the bizarre worlds of Tax Deductible Theatre Company, heightening the relationship between audience, performer and writer. She also likes colouring in, pirates, tea and vintage erotica.
